I wanted to see if tables look better with gray borders instead
of black.
In PDF I think table looks better with gray boarder but still
not sure, may be others think that black board looks better
for tables?

You are right. The vertical lines should be coloured too. I've fixed that
in TeX4ht sources, it should work soon.
