Donald wrote the Dilation Theory while he and I were traveling from Carlsbad, New Mexico to Denver, Colorado. I was driving and Donald was busy writing what I thought might be a trip report. Somewhere between Roswell and Vaughn, he finished writing and proceeded to read his manuscript to me. I have fond memories of that day, hearing Donald read the first draft of "The Dilation Theory of Cave Origin!" If you have not yet read it, by all means do so. If you have previously read it years ago, read it again. It's a gem!
