The news reporter claims the alleged victim was looking for a cave.
I have looked for caves along the coastline of Maine. I think I saw one that
went back about 10 feet. So this guy, apparently took a big risk
for nothing.
He could have faked this death, but with 5 witnesses, that might be hard to
do. Maybe he didn't want to go back to Ireland ? I don't believe
the reporter's claim
that they swam out to a rock 500 yards from shore. That water is cold.
