This will be short, we're just getting in and are exhausted. Mal moved from ICU to Intermediate Care at 4 AM. Had a good day. Improvement continues slowly. Can follow visitors with her head instead of just her eyes, seems to understand some things better, still coughing up stuff from her lungs. The special talent she displayed today - only patient these nurses have ever had that they absolutely cannot keep the special orthopedic leg boots on. She moves her legs almost constantly, and kicks and pulls the boots off with her feet.
