Andy,

Please elaborate. If you are referring to the UT tower sniper, there would 
probably have been fewer fatalities had the concealed carry law been in force 
at the time. This is assuming that some eligible students and faculty had been 
armed.

Actually, Rod, I believe it is illegal to carry a concealed firearm on UT 
property.  There was an incident on campus a number of years ago that left a 
bad impression in people's minds.
