Jack Stellmack passed away at about 2 a.m. this morning (Friday, Feb. 26). He was not suffering any pain. His sister, Lois, his good friend Sheryn, and I spent yesterday at his bedside trying to make him as comfortable as possible. He really wanted to go. "Quickly, quickly.", he repeated to us. He will be cremated. There will probably be a memorial service in the spring when the weather is more suitable for an outdoor event. Jack was a Honorary life member of the Nittany Grotto and the NSS, and a Charter member of the Butler Cave Conservation Society. The auction of his estate which was originally scheduled earlier and was postponed until Sunday March 14 because of bad weather, is still on the schedule. Sadly, Keith -- Keith D. Wheeland, NSS 2878 NSS Board Member and Chair of NSS IO Committee 2191 Mt.
