The price of steel should go down, judging from the front-end decline in the 
market for scrap steel and other metals.  NPR reported on lots of cancelled 
orders from China, the source of the demand that drove the prices up.  So our 
copper pipes and aluminum historical markers will be less desirable to the 
small-time thieves that rip them off.

You can buy a Toyota FJ cruiser with rear lockers standard for $26,000.   Half 
the price....twice the vehicle.
