Experience has shown that Ziploc bags rarely keep anything dry for long 
when submerged.  I wouldn't entrust a non-waterproof camera to such a bag.  
Even a roll-top river bag can get wet inside when submerged for hours on end.  
Stick with the waterproof boxes when it really matters.

I had good luck with Ziploc bags in Honey Creek.  The trick is to seal the top 
of the Ziploc with duct tape. It keeps the contents dry but you only get to 
open the bag once.
