Did you see on the news what is going on in Berkeley California? The city council has banned US military recruitment centers inside of its city limits.
Congress is bullying them, by threatening to withhold educational funding to the University. Did anything like that ever happen during Vietnam? In my opinion, the military recruitment centers are a huge waste of tax money. Imagine if Exxon or some US giant corporation rented office space in a shopping mall and paid 2 employees to sit there with there thumb up there ass all day. Congress calls it - creating jobs, as in, "they created 100,000 jobs last year." I would imagine that from the perspective of the Berkelians, that they are being harassed by a facist regime.
