The NSS Online Cavers Network at www.onlinecavers.com is a new site just for cavers to meet and hang out. You can create your own page and join the community, or just check out the videos, blogs, and photos.
The site has exploded since going live a couple of days ago. We can't believe what a hit the site is and how quickly people started doing stuff. We're up to 140 members in only a week. Nearly nearly 700 photos and 15 videos have been uploaded; 9 groups have been formed, including grottos, the Vertical Section, and surveys; friends are leaving messages for friends; and cavers are already blogging. There have been over 17,000 views already! On the home page, there is a caving news RSS feed, a swiki search for cave- and caving-related topics, a feed from CaveChat with the latest posts, a photo feed from the NSS Cavers Photo Group on Flickr. It's a happening place. Check it out! All cavers are welcome.
