I'm going to be going down to Belize within the week and rumor has it Alan Cobb is caving down there. Does anyone know how/where I would go to "bump" into him there?

Most of us who keep up with legitimate auto news are aware that all hybrids are a poor choice from all standpoints. Initial additional cost and eventual expensive battery replacement make them undesirable when usually the same model with a smaller engine and manual transmission will achieve the same or better gas mileage. Emissions on today's non-hybrids are probably as clean as the hybrids. I'm saying again, that the degree to which these vehicles are "HYBRID" is only enough to satiate pen-pushers in some accounting office. The degree to which these vehicles are able to scavenge kinetic energy is limited. Conspiracy theorists state that the "Hybrid Label" only achieve some tax break deals which the manufacturer's have made with the help of Washington lobbyists - while doing little to actually save significant amounts of fuel. Who will be the first Texas Caver's to make that first totally alternate fuel cave trip? I betcha it will not be the last! -WaV On 6/6/07, *David** Locklear* <dlocklea...@gmail.com> wrote: http://www.mitfuso.com/pages/news-hevconcept.html Honda has discontinued the Accord Hybrid. Maybe it will be easier to find those cheaper now? Or will they become a collector's item, and the price will go up?
