      For more on the hazards of Ironite see the EPA warning at http://www.epa.gov/nrmrl/lrpcd/wm/projects/135367.htm and the Minnesota Department of Health warning at http://www.health.state.mn.us/divs/eh/risk/studies/ironite.htm.  Ironite is no longer for sale in Minnesota due to legislation banning fertilizer products with high levels of arsenic.  From the latter website:
 
>Ironite contains between 3000 and 6000 parts per million (ppm) arsenic, and 3400 ppm lead. These concentrations are significantly higher (up to 1000 times) the levels in other Minnesota home and garden fertilizers.
