Wow, this is sad news. After landing in Austin for a job, the UT caving
community  became my local family.  I looked forward to the meetings,
trips, and the Posse, and other events that orbited around the community..
Gils Hot tub, Saturday swims, and more.  I  still managed a few trips over
the last 15 years since moving to NY.

Next, will cave trips be banned altogether for a university club from going
outdoors, like Penn State?
