Is this really an appropriate question for a relatively public forum?

EXTERNAL MAIL

I use fast burning black powder. 3 mil nichrome wire for the igniter. It is
readily available on the internet.

My follow-on question is what do people use to fill the hole? I am currently
using plumbers putty. Is it necessary to completely plug the hole to the
surface?
