The Indian Government has simplified / modernized the life certificate for
pensioners however the technology is not easily available and usable for the
common man.
The pandemic has axe it even more difficult and the biometric software is not
ready and accessible for people like me.
Even going to the bank for the life certificate is a nightmare during these
unprecedented times.

A person like me 82 years old, living with my daughter now in the suburbs of
Chicago, can not go to the embassy due to the pandemic.
This may continue till the end of this year and probably into mid next year as
is being forecasted.

The main requirements for the life certificate are
Proof of being alive
Aadhar card
Pan card
Bank account no .
Ppo
Jiwan Praman

How do I keep my pension coming without disruption? Any plausible solution to
help me with this predicament? Is there a way for me to just mail in copies of
the above and can you please help process the certificate?

Your help is greatly appreciated for someone like me who can not go back to
India in these circumstances.

Thank you
Mr MS Srinivasan
