      ANANTHA INFINITY

ANA+ ANTHA= ENDLESS, INFINITY. ANANTHA PADMANABHAN= ONE WHO HAS THE
LOTUS FROM THE NAABHI INFINITUM. And before that Vidyesvara Samhita of
Shiva Purana Chapters 6, 7, and 8*, *Nandikesvara talks about the journey
of Vishnu and Brahma in search of Siva’s head and feet. That was an
infinitum. Hence the word infinity is not from the Greeks as west does
claim. That which is not limited by time and space and not subject to the
law of causation, which is above time, space, and beyond all laws is
infinite. God is not limited by time or space, neither has He any cause. He
is absolute. *The infinite again must be one, otherwise it is
finite.(duality is finite).*

Thus, if we admit that God is infinite, we deny the existence of any
other thing besides God; otherwise He would be limited by that thing, and
be subject to time, space and the law of causation. If we say that maker
exists separate from and outside of God, we have made Him limited by maker,
we have made Him finite and perishable. If we think of ourselves as
separate from God, as independent of His Being, then in our thought we have
denied His illimitable nature. There is for the same reason, not a single
particle of maker in the universe that can exist independent of God s
existence or outside of God If He is infinite and one our bodies and
everything of the universe from the minutest atom to God. If He is infinite
and one, our bodies and everything of the universe from the minutest atom
to the largest planetary system, from the lowest animalcule to the highest
Being, exists in and through that Infinite Existence.

The soul is beyond all space. Space is in the soul, not the soul
in space. Form is confined to time and space and is bound by the law of
causation. All time is in us, we are not in time. As the soul is not in
time and space, all time and space are within the soul. The soul is
therefore omnipresent.

Purnamidam Purnaat purnamudachyate Purnasya

Oṁ Shāntiḥ, Shāntiḥ Shanti

Om, that is Wholeness, This Wholeness
>From Wholeness comes Wholeness
Though this Wholeness is taken from that Wholeness
This Wholeness remains Whole
Om Peace, peace, peace ( isavasya and Bradaranyaka Upanishads)

The infinity is seen from the above and Greek perhaps learnt it from here.
If we take away infinite from infinite, the Infinite is not reduced in any
way, because one cannot take away anything from the Infinite. Therefore, if
this so-called infinite of creation is taken to have emanated from that
supreme Fullness of Infinity, it need not follow that there is some
diminution of content in the original Fullness.

The word ‘ananta’ also is mentioned several times in the Ṛgveda,
Yajurveda and Atharvaveda. (6) Furthermore, it is very well known that
while describing the Veda, scholars begin with the description: “anantā vai
vedāḥ”, i.e. “(The) Vedas (are) verily endless”. “satyaṃ jñānam anantam
bramha” from the Taittirīya Upaniṣad.

Bhaskaracharya’s Beejakanitham is a wonderful work where he
------------------------------

*asmin vikāraḥ *khahare na *rāśāvapi praviṣṭeṣvapi niḥsṛteṣu*
*bahuṣvapi syāt laya – sṛṣṭikāle *anante acyute* bhūtagaṇeṣu yadvat*
------------------------------

There is no change in the *Khahara (infinity)* by adding or subtracting,
just like infinite immutable (Brahma or Viṣnu)
which does not have any effect by the living beings entering or leaving it
at the time of dissolution or creation of the world.
------------------------------

In *Lilavati *(Shlok 48), Bhaskaracharya gives more instruction about
multiplying by zero शुन्ये गुणके जाते खं हारश्चेत् पुनस्तदा राशिः।
अविकृत एव ज्ञेयस्तथैव खेनोनितश्च युतः॥
------------------------------

*śunye guṇake jāte khaṃ hāraścet punastadā rāśiḥ**।*
*avikṛta *eva* jñeyastathaiva khenonitaśca yutaḥ**॥*
------------------------------

If a zero becomes a multiplier and a number turns into zero, it should
(really) be considered as unchanged if it is again divided by zero!
Similarly, if a zero is subtracted off and added in (a number is considered
unchanged.)

      Vedanta <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vedanta> School, the term
Ananta used in the phrase “ *anadi* (begininngless) *ananta* (endless)
*akhanda* (unbroken) *sat-chit-ananda* (being-consciousness-bliss)” refers
to the Infinite, the single non-dual reality. Yoga
<https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yoga> School, Ananta is the serpent of
infinity who eavesdropped on the secret teaching that was being imparted to
Goddess Parvati <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parvati> by Lord Shiva
<https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shiva>; the secret teaching was Yoga. On
being apprehended Ananta was sentenced by Lord Shiva to impart that
teaching to human beings for which purpose Ananta assumed the human form
and was called Patanjali <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Patanjali>.

Therefore ancient facts must not be relied upon just
superficially.
