BEING  A COMPILATION THERE MAY  BE ERRORS

Q1            How much do doctors in the U.K.make, and are they in the upper
class?

A1            Gill Bullen Beenworking with Tier 4 students for a long time. Dec

Doctors in the UK are very wellpaid. There's no one figure, because so much
depends onwhat they are doing, and what sort of hours they work.

“Are they in the upper class”? Ithought you were Canadian,OP, not American!
There are times when it seems that everyone thinks theBritish are obsessed with
social class, but that other nations think far moreabout it than we do.

Class in the UK is only veryloosely connected with income. You can be a
penniless aristocrat, or rich but working class. Youroccupation has more to do
with it, and being a doctor probably makes youapproximately upper-middle-class,
but it's not automatic.

Q2            Can I stop a washing machine whileit is working or running?

On every one that I’ve ever owned, either lift the lid (top load) or pushin the
cycle control knob and it will stop whatever it is doing. If you need toadd
bleach or toss in a sock that missed the load, do what you need and closethe
lid and if needed pull the control knob out again. No problem.

Yes, if you want to, the methodvaries by machine, so review the owners manual.

3RD ANSWER-CurtMueller Updated Oct 22

You can but it’s not the bestpractice especially while it spins. A washer needs
to gain speed to spin as fast as possible to removewater from clothes. If you
stop the washer while spinning, it has to re-gainthe speed and the timer only
allows a short amount of time before it shuts off.

In India the power supply may go OFF at any time. So at any time machinemay
stop. But if we are stopping for some reason, we would make sure while machine
is in silent stagelike drawing water etc.

Q3            Why do forests in Japan look safe? Are there no tigers or lions
there?

A3            Kanishk Yadav FormerDeeply Interested in Big Cats Fri

No,

–However, Tigers and Lions arenot native to Japan but Japan’s forest are not as
much safe we use to see it.!

There are many dangerous animals in Japan which can kill any person injust few
minutes because there is NO country in this world (With human existence)which
has no dangerous animal.

There are many types of forests in Japan including, coniferous forestwith
spruce and fir, deciduous forests and evergreen forests. And in theseforests
many Dangerous animals roam like they are themselves King of that area.

So, let's see about some animals that are very dangerous animals of Japanand
can kill human in very less time.

𝗝𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝗚𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗛𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘁, (𝘝𝘦𝘴𝘱𝘢 𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘢)

These bees are giant, they are even known to kill other bees biggestbee's
specie ever, 15–20 giant hornets can kill a human easily. As like otherbee
species they are neutral they don't sting anyone until they step on theirhive
or they kill their queen.

𝗕𝗲𝗮𝗿, (𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯 𝘶𝘴𝘳𝘴𝘶𝘴)

These beautiful creatures are as dangerous as beautiful they look, theirnail
swap can kill a human in few seconds mainly male bears are aggressive
butsometimes also when they are feeling danger from you while, female bears
mostlyattack due to their cubs.

𝗝𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗕𝗼𝗮𝗿, (𝘚𝘶𝘴 𝘚𝘤𝘳𝘰𝘧𝘢 𝘓𝘶𝘦𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘺𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘹)

As usual, like other boar species they are very aggressive their teethscan rip
off through human skin in africa, even leopards and hyenas fear fromthem! while
lions due to an advantage of living in a pride usually don’t fearthem but still
they can’t catch them because they have 40 km/h I know this isless than lions
and even humans but they have very high stamina!

𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗗𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗔𝗞𝗔 𝗦𝗶𝗸𝗮 𝗱𝗲𝗲𝗿, (𝘊𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘶𝘴 𝘕𝘪𝘱𝘰𝘯)

Not because they are Powerful (as bears), have sharp teeth which can ripoff
through skin, not because of deadly stings, because they (males only) havesharp
and so big horns that can go through human skin easily like wild boar’steeth
their kick is also very powerful!

So, these were some Japanese animals that are very harmful and dangerouswhich
can kill a human easily I hope you like this answer and if I forgot toadd any
animal you can tell me about them in comment box!

Q4            Why are salt and pepper never soldtogether as salty pepper?

A4            Martin Bayer Chef(1994–present)Thu

Have you ever opened a can of mixed nuts and noticed that all of the big nuts
are on top andthe smaller ones fall to the bottom of the can?

That phenomenon holds true when you mix just about any dissimilarly
sizedthings, the smaller thingwill fall through the cracks and go to the bottom
of the pile.

When you mix salt and pepper, thepepper tends to ride on top and the salt is
underneath. Granted, there should be twice as much salt as pepper, soall of the
salt won’t be under the pepper, but it will never be an even mix.

It isn’t a practical practice. Ifyou have to adjust the seasoningof an item and
all of your salt and pepper is mixed, you can’t add one or theother, only both.

Q5            How often does each blood cell visitthe dermis in a day?

A5            Ken SaladinFormerprofessor of histology (microscopic anatomy)Sat

Well, that’s an interesting thought question. On average, a red blood
cellcompletes one trip around the body in 1 minute—but much more quickly ifit
travels a short systemic circuit as in the coronary circulation or going, say,
only to the thyroid gland and back, and more slowly if it travels a longroute,
as to the feet and back.

But on average,we could say an RBC makes 1,440 trips around the body per day.
But since theskin receives only 6% of the blood flow at rest, we might infer
that a givenRBC travels to the skin and back an average of (0.06)(1440) = ~86
times a day.

It couldvary significantly depending on one’s level of physical activity,
affectingcardiac output and blood distribution (routing). At rest, the
skinreceives about 300 milliliters of blood per minute (6.0% of cardiac
output); inmoderate exercise, it receives about 1,900 mL/min (10.9% of cardiac
output).

Q6            After touchdown on landing, panelsof the plane are raised on top
of the wings. What are these called?

A6        SteveBaker Blogger at LetsRunWithIt.com(2013–present)Fri

Spoilers.

They deliberately “spoil” theairflow over the wings - making them less
aerodynamic - and thereby reducinglift and increasing drag.

This prevents the airplane fromlifting off again and byreducing speed helps the
airplane to stop in a shorter distance - which enablesit to land on a shorter
runway and reduces the amount of wear on theundercarriage tires and brakes.

Q7            Should North Indians stop coming toSouth India and seeking
employment?

A7            Titus D'silva Lives inBengaluru, Karnataka, India Fri

No. No. Absolutely not.

As a matter of fact, more North Indians should come to Bangalore
seekingemployment. Thereshould not be any discrimination of people on the basis
of their origin.Especially when we are talking about basic sustenance.

It is true that there will belocals who don't like outsiders in their land and
they have theirreasons(sometimes good reasons). However, for economic
development, there has to be free movement of people, goods and talent. Many of
the startups in Bangalore/Hyderabad and Chennai wereinitiated by North Indians.

Instead of implementing stupid things like inner-line permit, stategovernments
should provide better education to help locals compete for jobs.State
governments should set targets to have more locals in the
industry, manufacturing and service sector through skill development.

The majority community shouldnever discriminate with employment since it is a
basic human right and needed for basic human comfort and dignity. Moreover, this
type of discrimination has business costs since you will bemaking a business
decision based on non-business factors which lead toinefficient usage of skills.

Q8            How can you fry anything withoutleaving it covered in oil?

A8            MartinBayerChef(1994–  present)Oct 22

There are two types of frying:deep fat frying and shallow frying, also known as
pan frying.

As you know, deep fat frying requires the food to be submerged in a potof hot
oil.

Shallow frying is done in a awide flat bottomed pan, with the food half
submerged in oil. The food needs to be flipped half way through thecooking
process.

You can pan fry just about anything that you would deep fat fry. Friedchicken,
crab cakes, fried pork chops, whatever you’ve got, can be pan fired.Stuff like
French fries, fried calamari, and other smaller items, are betterwhen deep fat
fried, but breaded pieces of meat, and similar larger pieces offood, shallow
fry well.

A9            Subhasis Dutta Roy Thu

While going through the highway all of us observe thiswhite line marks on roads
like this.

It divides the lanes. But do you observe all the white lines drawn on theroad
are not the same on the pattern?

There are mainly three types ofwhite line marking drawn on the road. All they
have different meanings and every highway driver should obey thoseto avoid road
accidents.

A broken white line like this

It means drivers are allowed toovertake if needed.

One continues white line like this

Drivers are supposed to not beallowed to overtake. Theselines are drawn where
visibility is not clear for far in ahead.

A double white line like this

It means drivers are strictlynot allowed to overtake when two continuous white
lines are drawn on the road.

All these are implemented as per previous experiences on this road andall the
drivers must follow these rules to avoid accidents on road.

The owner of the clock mustwash the hands, not the clock itself, which is
implied in your question. An inanimate object can not washitself.
