Q1 Why cow is sacred?

A1 Cow is considered as mother since ancient times.Killingit for food is 
considered a sin. If someone eats meat of Cow, he breaks thebelief of millions 
of followers take anything and every thing available for thesake of taste. 
Non-violence comes out of compassion towards all living beings. If we could 
follow somethinggood why can’t we retain it?...The sacred cow

Q2 Why is cows milk considered to be holy andused for pujas? 

A2 It is undiluted andpious....Cow is considered Holy, by Hindus. the 
incarnation of MahaVishnu asSri Krishna lived as a cowherd. cows were 
worshipped from that time, & cowmilk used for poojas. no other milk is used for 
poojas of temples even today....cowsmilk considered to be holy and used for 
pujas and cow was liked by lord krishna.cows are respected  as mother and in 
Hinduscows puja is done .

Q3.Why do we apply Vibhuti or Holy Ash overour body?

A3 Sins are destroyed and theLord is remembered is the holy ash that Hindus 
apply over their forehead andbody.This holy ash is created by burning cow dung 
along with milk, ghee, honey, etc.It is a principle sacrament in the worship of 
Lord Siva, representing Hisburning away of our ignorance to ashes. The cow dung 
is obtained from a cowsthat are fed sixteen varieties of medicinal leaves. The

Q4.  Whatabout sheeps milk?

A4  SHEEPS MILK is both nutritious and delicious.TheMilk has a rich, bland, 
slightly sweet taste. It is much higher in total solidsthan either cow or 
goatmilk and contains up to twice as many. 

Q5 If one is allergic to cow or goat milk? 

A5 Unless you are lactose intolerant sheep milk is theideal alternative. Such 
allergies cause a wide range of often undiagnosedproblems. Being told to come

Q7 What is Panchagavya?

A7 Panchagavya is a mixture of five ingredients connected with cow --milk, 
curd, ghee, urine, and dung....cow -- milk, curd, ghee, urine, and dung.mixture 
is Panchagavya.... 


Q8 In Hinduism cow is considered as a sacredanimal, Why ?

A8 The five products pancagavya ofthe cow milk, curds, ghee butter, urine and 
dung are all used in puja worshipas well as in rites of extreme penance. The 
milk of the family cownourishes children as they grow up, and cow dung gobar is 
a major source ofenergy for households throughout India. Cow dung is sometimes 
among thematerials used for a tilak - a ritual mark on the forehead.

traits.

A10 Kamdhenu, the sacred cowdeity is considered to grant all wishes and 
desires. It isbelieved that she emerged from Samudramanthan the churning of the 
ocean andtaken by seven gods, who compose the constellation of the Great Bear 
in thesky. She is also calledSurabhi, Shaval, Aditi and Kamduh. She is the

Q11 What is Mad cow disease?.How does it affects the human health? 

A11 Its calledmad cow disease because it affects a cows nervous system, causing 
a cow to actstrangely and lose control of its ability to do normal things, such 
as walk. Aninfected cow would act "mad," which sometimes means mentally ill. 
Acow with BSE develops these problems because it has developed an 
infection.This infection causes its brain to waste away and become spongy.

A12 Thecontribution that cow and bull makes in our life that term them as 
sacred.Hindus belive that on cows body devtao ka niwas hota hai,that is why cow 
is asacred animal....The Hindu scripts have ,the birds and the wild animals and
