அவற்றின் இடையிலான தூரம் மிகவும் குறைவாக இருந்தது. ஆனால் இப்போது புலி சேற்றில்
சிக்கியதால் எதுவும் செய்ய முடியவில்லை.
மாடு மெதுவாக சேற்றுக்குள் மூழ்கத் தொடங்கியது. புலியின் அருகில் மாடு
இருந்தபோதும் புலி அதனை பிடிக்க முடியவில்லை. அவர்கள் மெதுவாக சேற்றுக்குள் மூழ்க
ஆரம்பித்தனர். இருவரும் சேற்றுக்குள் கிட்டத்தட்ட கழுத்து வரை மூழ்கிவிட்டனர்.
சிறிது நேரம் கழித்து, மாடு புலியைக் கேட்டது,
மாடு: உனக்கு மாஸ்டர் அல்லது உரிமையாளர் இருக்கிறாரா?
புலி: நான் காட்டில் ராஜா. நான் யாருக்கும் சொந்தமில்லை. நானே இந்த காட்டின்
உரிமையாளன்.
மாடு: ராஜாவா இருந்து என்ன பலன்? நீயும் என்னைப் போல மாட்டிக்கிட்டு இருக்க.
புலி: நீயம் தான் என்ன போல சாகப்போற. உங்கிட்ட மாஸ்டர் இருந்தாலும் உன் நிலை
என்னுடையது போலவே தான் இருக்கு.
மாடு: இல்லவே இல்லை. என் எஜமானர் மாலையில் வீட்டிற்கு வந்து என்னை தேடி பார்ப்பர்,
அவர் நிச்சயமாக என்னைத் தேடி இங்கு வந்து என்னை இந்த மண்ணிலிருந்து வெளியே எடுத்து
வீட்டிற்கு அழைத்துச் செல்வார். உங்களை யார் அழைத்துச் செல்வார்கள்?
சிறிது நேரத்தில், ஒரு மனிதன் அங்கு வந்து மாட்டை சேற்றிலிருந்து வெளியே எடுத்து
தன் வீட்டிற்கு அழைத்து சென்றார்.
செல்லும்முன், மாடு மற்றும் அதன் உரிமையாளர் இருவரும் நன்றியுடன் ஒருவரை ஒருவர்
பார்த்துக் கொண்டனர். அவர்கள் விரும்பினாலும் புலியை சேற்றில் இருந்து வெளியே
எடுக்க முடியவில்லை, ஏனெனில் அது அவர்களின் உயிருக்கு அச்சுறுத்தலாக அமையலாம்.
மாடு - அர்ப்பணிப்புள்ள இதயத்தின் சின்னம்.
புலி - இறுமாப்புள்ள மனம்.
உரிமையாளர் - கடவுளின் சின்னம்.
மண் - இதுதான் உலகம்.
யாரையும் நம்பாமல் இருப்பது ஒரு நல்ல விஷயம், ஆனால் நான் தான் எல்லாம், எனக்கு
யாருடைய ஆதரவும் தேவையில்லை என்ற ஆணவம், அழிவின் விதையை விதைத்துவிடும்.

A cow went into a forest for grazing.
The evening approached. The cow saw a tiger coming towardsher.
The cow started running in fear. The tiger also startedrunning behind it. A
running cow saw a pond ahead. The frightened cow enteredthe pond.
The tiger followed it and entered the pond. The pool wasnot very deep, had
little water and was full of mud.
The distance between them was very short. But now thetiger was stuck in the mud
and could not do anything.
The cow slowly began to sink into the mud. Even when thecow was near the tiger,
the tiger could not catch it. They slowly began to sinkinto the mud. Both were
almost up to their necks in mud.
After some time, the cow asked the tiger,
Cow: Do you have a master or an owner?
Tiger: I am the king of the jungle. I don't belong toanyone. I am the owner of
this forest.
Cow: What is the benefit of being a king? You are stucklike me.
Puli: Justice is the way to die. Even with a master likeyou, your situation is
the same as mine.
Cow: Not at all. My master will come home in the eveningand look for me, he
will surely come here looking for me and take me out ofthis earth and take me
home. Who will take you?
In no time, a man came there and took the cow out of themud and took it home.
Before leaving, both the cow and its owner looked at eachother gratefully. They
could not pull the tiger out of the mud even if theywanted to, as it might pose
a threat to their lives.
Cow - symbol of devoted heart.
Tiger - A troubled mind.
The owner is a symbol of God.
Soil - this is the world.
Not trusting anyone is a good thing, but the arrogancethat I am everything and
I don't need anyone's support will sow the seeds ofdestruction. KR IRS
