I have my doubts as shown in the FB. It is eletro-magnetism of acidity and
copper conductor. What I read and did in school was:Using a lemon and a
battery to spin a coin is a fun experiment that demonstrates the principles
of electricity and electromagnetism. Here's how you can do it:

Materials needed:

   1. A fresh lemon
   2. A zinc-coated nail (or galvanized nail)
   3. A copper coin (like a penny)
   4. Some insulated copper wire
   5. A low-voltage battery (such as a AA battery)

Steps:

   1. Insert the zinc-coated nail into one end of the lemon.
   2. Insert the copper coin into the lemon, about an inch away from the
nail. Make sure they don't touch.
   3. Wrap one end of the insulated copper wire around the zinc-coated nail.
   4. Connect the other end of the wire to the positive terminal of the
   battery.
   5. Connect another piece of wire from the negative terminal of the
   battery to the copper coin.

What happens: When the circuit is completed (the wires connecting the lemon
to the battery), a chemical reaction occurs between the zinc nail and the
lemon juice, producing a small electric current. This current flows through
the wire from the nail to the copper coin. According to Fleming's Left-Hand
Rule, this current creates a magnetic field around the wire. As the current
flows from the nail to the coin, it induces a magnetic field around the
wire, interacting with the magnetic field produced by the Earth. This
interaction causes a force that pushes the wire (and hence the coin) to
rotate.

This experiment demonstrates the conversion of chemical energy (in the
lemon) to electrical energy and then to mechanical energy (the spinning
motion of the coin), showcasing the interconnectedness of various
scientific principles. KR IRS 12524
