Because a ThinkingSphinx::Search object (returned by the search method) is not 
an array, but a collection of search results, with pagination information and 
other custom methods, it's not really possible to have it behave reliably with 
that complexity *and* just like an array as well.

So, while it may not be quite as elegant, it's not a bug.
