I know, and I do. But it happened to start a send/receive just as I hit SEND!

Since you're using Outlook, you can add a sending delay to make outgoing
messages wait in your outbox for a minute or two after you hit the Send
button. This has saved me a lot of embarrassment!

It should be similar in your Outlook 2007 but I don't know the exact steps.
