Not really. That just means that your CCFL is on its last leg and a quarter, 
instead of being on its last leg...

No one can tell you how much time that LCD will last. It maybe two hours, or 
two years. But consider that pink/red hue a warning that a new one is in order, 
and fast.

OK, mayyyyyybe the pinkness is only pronounced when the computer is first 
turned 
on, and reduced when it's been on for a while (i.e. possibly 
temperature-related).  Does that reduce my likelihood of failure?
