I asked about these devices a couple of months ago, and then it looked like we'd replace the T41. Now we're thinking of waiting for July 2 and the Ontario move from PST to HST (businesses get it back), plus lots of carrying the T41 around.
Does the Mini-Dock stick out further than the PRII? It looks like it in the manual drawings but there are no sizes that I can see. And by how much? And I've seen PRII part numbers 74P6733|74P6734, is there a difference? I really just want to make connecting/disconnecting simpler, and I have 3 AC adapters for the T41 so could leave one plugged in to the PRII. There's not a lot to choose in price, I'm seeing used PRII for <$13 and Mini-dock for <$17 (no key), shipped to US in both cases. If they were the same size I'd pay $4 extra for the Mini-dock as a 4-port powered USB hub, but if it's (e.g.) 1" vs 3" the space is probably more important.
