I have issue with ram installed in my thinkpad x60s, running windows7 32bit.

I upgraded my x60s' ram to 3gb, which each slot 1x1gb and 1x2gb, both are
PC2-5300 DDR2 SDRAM SODIMMs, and it starts to hang after a lot of programs
opened.

I've browsed and found that Intel 945 would only works with balanced ram for
both slot, and for using 2gb ram, should use PC2-4200.

I want to use 4gb ram in total, which I except the consequences of available
only 3gb on 32bit system.

My questions are:
1. Can my x60s hold a 4gb ram?
2. Should I installed 2x2gb PC2-5300, or 2x2gb PC2-4200?

Thanks.
