My ftp needs are basic. I use WGET (command line) down, and SendToFTP (right click) up.
Sounds like Jeff might want to use the ftp he's familiar with, but his own computer to rename the files--if it's a one-off kind of thing. Damn the bandwidth, and full speed ahead.
