Windows 8 is much better than Windows 7. Just install Start8 and you
will never see those tiles again.

Well I got it back today, and the BIOS that's on it now doesn't even include
the option to enable Secure Boot! And Win8 boots just fine without it, FYI.
Now to take a backup image, blow it all away, and install Win7 - I don't think
I'm ready for Tiles just yet.
