Shortcut bar? Adding and removing shortcuts is so easy to do, you could
still have your space when you're done with the task. Perhaps a folder
with symlinks?

Personally, I'd hate this option. The right-click menu needs to be thin,
IMHO. It's just used too often to include the kitchen sink.
Right-clicking in Konqueror makes my eyes glaze over.
