GMail working great again as well! Big thanks to mfcarpino and Chris
for the excellent tip, I had no idea these accounts were supported by
Thunderbird natively.

Author: well I still have the Yahoo plugin, set the aforementioned
setting to 2 as suggested, saw somewhere else on the forum that this
sorted out Yahoo for them, but alas not for me :( I get the following
generic error:

YahooPOPBETA.js: loginHandler : Exception : Error.
Error message: error logging in
334

I tried to disable my firewall and antivirus as per some suggestions
in some other threads, but to no avail. :( Well, I'll keep Webmail and
the Yahoo plugin installed and will investigate further later. Thanks
for the great plugins anyway, I used them for a couple of years now,
and the fact that they worked well for about a year is well worth a
thank you.
