>From Pop Peeper Website:

mail.com Workaround - mail.com is converting its mail system to use
AOL. Not all accounts have been converted, but for those that have you
can use AOL's IMAP and SMTP servers to access your email:

IMAP
Server: imap.aol.com
No SSL
Port 143

SMTP
Server: smtp.aol.com
No SSL
Port 25 (or 587)
Enable "Server requires authentication"

I was not able to get it to work with TB for some reason but I did
with Pop Peeper.

It is probably the way TB sends it login or we may need setup a screen
name on AOL side.

This what AOL has on their website:

Read and Send AOL/AIM E-mail with Other E-mail Applications

To create and configure your AOL/AIM e-mail account in applications
not listed above, please use the table below. If you experience
difficulties, we recommend that you contact your email client's
customer support department.

Incoming Mail (IMAP) Server imap.aol.com or imap.aim.com

Use SSL: No

Port: 143
Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server: smtp.aol.com or smtp.aim.com

Use SSL: No

Use Authentication: Yes

Port: 587
Account Name:your Screen Name (do not include @aol.com or @aim.com)
Username: your Screen Name (do not include @aol.com or @aim.com)
Email Address: your full AOL or AIM email address ([email protected]
or [email protected])
Password: your AOL or AIM password

Hopefully TB will able to the IMAP side as I think we might want use
it instead as you can access all of your folders. Hopes this will help
out.
