Ah, that makes quite a difference.
It sounds like you selected "Keep these tiddlers linked to this server 
so that you can synchronise subsequent changes" during the import.
That tells TiddlyWiki the respective tiddlers originate somewhere else. 
This in turn means that when opening a non-existing tiddler from such a 
tiddler, TiddlyWiki tries to dynamically load that tiddler from the source.

You could remove the respective extended fields, but it's probably not 
worth the hassle.
