Jon, here's an exercise for you: Right click on a tiddler (...assuming you use PC) and select "Inspect". This will open the browser inspector tool, showing you the html code and which styles the various parts of the html have associated to it. Locate what the name of the style is that styles the tag pill. It is a pretty obvious name.
Once you have it, reuse the code you just posted but exchange the ".tc-titlebar button" for the tag style name. Put this code in a separate tiddler with the name of your choice but tag this tiddler with "$:/tags/Stylesheet" and select the type (at bottom of edit view tiddler) to be a stylesheet.
