Please read SearchOptionsPluginInfo - as Eric is pretty good at
documenting his plugins...

As far as I remember the SearchOptionsPlugin automatically creates a
searchlist (very similar to the SimpleSearch plugin) at the top of the
"story" (just above the first tiddler)...
Search options and option for making a new search is provided in the
same searchlist....

If you however want to create a search popup exactly like the one Eric
has on TiddlyTools, you are going to do several, pretty advanced
stuff. I wouldn't dare to try it myself...as it involves installing
several more plugins and doing a lot of manual scripting... see
http://tiddlytools.com/#SiteMenuSearch.

Please try to use SearchOptionsPlugin as it was intended first -
simply install SearchOptionsPlugin (should be tagged with
systemConfig) and reload the document. Do a normal search. If the
searchlist doesn't appear (at the top of the story) and there are no
extra options to check, - then please report back again...

Nope. SearchOptionsPlugin isn't a macrocall - you simply write
<<search>>
Taken from SearchOptionsPluginInfo: "Extend core search function with
additional user-configurable options"...
