As far as i know, no, there is no cache. When you boot the NODE server, the basic tiddlywiki is loaded in memory. When you load the web page, each tiddler is requested to the server. Since this is done through a special adapter, no regular get and post request, there is no risk that the browser caches the results. If your FS is encrypted, then your data should be secure, and if your connection to the server is also encrypted (even if it is all in localhost) there is no chance of sniffing.
