I guess that the cat image isn't cached by the browser and so it needs more time to load again and on less powerful machines you'll see that ... I don't see this on my desktop pc ... just an assumption.
I'm about to improve that refresh mechanism, maybe those kind of things are going to disappear ... The current version is a draft / prerelease ... there are still issues.
