Hi Tony
There’s also the blockquote markup: “>” for single lines, and “<<<“ for block
mode. The single line format is treated as a list format:
> I’m a quoted line
>* I’m a nested bullet point
* I’m a top level bullet point
>> I’m double quoted
>># And I’m numbered
>># Like this
The default styling applies a vertical bar to the left of blockquotes, but you
can remove that with some CSS:
blockquote {
border-left: none;
margin-left: 25px;
padding-left: 10px;
}
You can also apply a class to any of the list formats:
>.my-class This is a blockquote with a class applied to its nested paragraph
*.another-class This is a list item with a class applied to its LI tag
Best wishes
Jeremy.
