There is no setting to define the resolution on opening a PDF in IrfanView. There is only DPI to configure.
So one must first examine the original resolution and DPI by help of e.g. "pdfimages -list" and then configure IrfanView different for each file separately. In consequence of the "bug", the "File Information" dialogue in IrfanView doesn't show the real data of the file opend, which I consider as a bug too. -Ulf -- Von meinem Seibert gesendet
