Summary: No local cursor

Initial Comment:
I don't know if this is really a bug. Maybe it's a feature that was dropped.
But anyway the "UseLocalCursor" option is gone, and only the standard "arrow"
pointer ever shows. There is no "hand" cursor, or throb (hourglass) cursor, or
text cursor etc. I can live with it but it would be nice to have this feature,
maybe it's planned in a future release?

This is a problem in the latest 1.1.9 releases.

Message:
Yet another update: When I connect simultaneously with -Shared from two
clients, one Linux and one windows, the remote cursor shows and moves on
both the linux client and the windows client, but when I move the mouse on
the linux client, it disappears (and becomes the client default arrow, this
bug) on the linux client, but still moves on the windows client.

Update: This problem seems to be only with the 1.1.9 viewer on Linux. The
windows 1.1.9 viewer works properly, and the "TigerVNC Viewer for X version
1.1.0 - built Oct 1 2011 13:43:55" works properly (except it has ctrl-key
wierdness). The latest 1.1.9 server has been used through all my testing.

This seems to be totally a problem with the viewer, as though the signal is
not being sent from the client to tell the server to send the local cursor.

Message:
more info: Using the TurboVNC viewer, I get a local arrow that changes
depending on what it's hovering, as well as the client's plain arrow, the
local one is underneath. Wierd. But with TigerVNC it's just the client
arrow, no local.

I'm using the one released on 2011-12-31, the one from here:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/tigervnc/files/tigervnc/1.1.90%20%281.2beta1%29/

Where would I find an updated build?

Message:
The setting is gone because it is always on. So you're seeing some kind of
bug.

There was a problem with the pre-release builds recently. Have you tried
downloading the updated builds?
