After you open the options window and select the options you desire, select the 
load/save tab and click on the save button in the Defaults area. This will set 
the program defaults to the what was just specified.

Hello,

    I'm wondering if there is a way to set a default colour level other 
than the max it tries. Everytime I connect, I have to go into the 
options, disable auto detect and select the colour level I want. I'd 
like to be able to set the max colour regardless of link speed. Is that 
possible?
