After I read your mail, I loaded Tiger VNC on my work machine (WinXP) to explore it a little more (I use Fedora 11 at home) and wrote up the instructions. After getting home, I discovered that the UI are not the same...i.e. they do not provide the same functions such as saving a profile as a default. I would like to resubmit this to the board to see if it would foster further discussion. There are two questions. The original, how do you set up a profile for configuration options to be loaded on default using the Linux version of Tiger VNC and second, are there any plans to add this functionality to the UI as it exists in the Windows version? -Paul

I start the program vncviewer and click options and turn off the auto detection. No load/save buttons anywhere. Is there a screenshot of the program you are using and see these?
