I've just tried that and it didn't help.

I've also tried adding a carriage return after the password in the file.
(just in case CRLF vs CR).
Since the client does not even try to authenticate, tcpdumps are useless.

Can anyone suggest a way for me to try to debug this issue? (IANA
Windows guy)
