Hi list, I'm behind a slow network, refreshing a window takes about 2-3 secs.
Interestingly its sometimes still faster to browse the web using my v-server sending the screen to my pc due to latency (60-90ms). Most of the time I just want to get my job done not caring about colours much. Has anyone already tried implementing a new driver sending graphic data by finding edges reducing the color space to about 3 different colors? I'd like to investigate how much speedup you can get by compressing such a 2 color image only. Has anybody already tried this something like this?
