I don't know how one would do that.  I do agree that it is a good idea,
though.

In any case, for me, I just keep a link to the forum on my bookmark bar.  I
click it periodically and see what's been posted.  That way my inbox is not
cluttered (no offense, anyone ;)).  If there's a subject that's particularly
important to me, I check the "Alert me by e-mail when someone replies to my
message" box.

I find that Nabble is quite reliable and user friendly compared with some
other tools of similar purpose.  Using the Nabble UI also helps in that the
messages are displayed as threads.

I do realize that you and others might want more immediate notification of
all messages, though.
