They have others. I've also used the Eval boards from Maxim or Nat Semi, but these day's they're usually USB. Sometimes, the protocol isn't published, but is trivially reverse engineerable from the demo program and a line monitor (inevitably, they talk USB, but emulate a COM port on the PC) OR they'll tell you the protocol if you ask.
