Gents,

missing all the schematics. PS both the links go to the same document.

any important content is missing.

I’m the third party that wrote the Vs 2.1 of the manual.

I started buying 3586 units about nine or ten years ago before they were
*discovered* and became astronomically priced.

I D/L Bill’s manual from BAMA and noticed that it had no pictures to match his
instructions for use comments. I tried to call him for permission to do a
revised version but Bill had just passed away.

As I had received the original HP operator’s manual with the first unit I
purchased I scanned the pictures, edited them with a photoshop elements 5 lite
program which was extremely limited, then repaginated the document.

I did the best I could to reorganize the manual so each chapter started on an
odd page. Editing the images took many hours due to the editing programs
limitations plus this was the first picture editing program I ever had. It was
a lot of trial and error. As I didn’t have anyone to proof read it for me
there maybe errors.

This was my attempt to give back knowledge I had to help others who might
purchase these.

If you want to know what thankless work is just try doing a complicated manual
like the 3586 and do it in HQ. I have a copy for the original HP site and it
is of poor quality. Those who did that are as dedicated and selfless as anyone
I know. There are thousands of man-hours to accomplish it. And they did it
for free. I, for one, am profoundly grateful for their efforts

If anyone wishes to improve on my efforts I will gladly email them all of my
original files.

Regards,

Perrier
