Don't worry, the sticker says : 24V 6A or 48V 3A. It means it's a switched mode power supply.

I'll hit it with 28vdc and see if any "Magic Smoke" issues forth. 73, Dick, W1KSZ Sent from Outlook<http://aka.ms/weboutlook> ________________________________ From: time-nuts <[email protected]> on behalf of Hal Murray <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, March 14, 2019 10:12 PM To: Discussion of precise time and frequency measurement Cc: [email protected] Subject: Re: [time-nuts] LMU300 Connectors > The outside of the box specs current need at 24vdc and 48vdc. Does the > Power Supply recognize the voltage level or do I need to dig into it further ? There is a large collection of DC-DC converters available. A 2:1 range on the input voltage is common, but they usually are centered on 24V or 48V rather than spanning 24-48V. I'd expect a sticker next to the power input connector telling you which voltage it expects. -- These are my opinions.
