It most likely is an old list of NTP servers from laboratories etc.
It is better not to use those because they are probably already very
heavily used.

The first example in the document you refer to is what you need.

Are you really sure there is no local timeserver within the Sun.COM
network? Please check again, I cannot believe that.

That is probably not going to work. But you can always try.
