actually, it is a package manager that handles the source itself but i can 
override it and compile/install manually. will check this out. thank you.

cool. still, i would think it would have been one of the very first options 
put into it.. i guess priorities come from various experiences and needs. i 
don't think i have placed more than 3 servers into production with a single 
ip/interface in the past 15 yrs, so for me large ip lists and routing tables 
are the norm. :)
