Wouldn't it be useful to have a sample config that does the following: - provide time services to the general public - give sample server entries to get time from - shows how to setup secure peers with other servers you may be have - give pointers how to deal with offensive clients I find the documentation and options for ntp a bit overwhelming; most people have no need to setup a stratum 1 server, but simply want time and want to provide time. A well-commented ntp.conf published on www.pool.ntp.org can help with that. -- Tot ziens, Bart-Jan _______________________________________________ timekeepers mailing list [email protected] https://fortytwo.ch/mailman/cgi-bin/listinfo/timekeepers
