Here are some real world stats from my pool servers:

Estimated active ntp pool clients: 852 3878
Estimated abusive ntp pool clients: 9 16
Estimated inactive ntp pool clients: 174 949
Total ntp pool clients being tracked: 1026 4827
Req/sec 2.77 9.04
Both servers are also listed in the public ntp server lists so there is
some non-pool traffic in there too.
